Who we are...
Our caring, highly trained team of "Caregivers" can make independent living a possibility for seniors that want to remain in the comfort of their own homes but need some help, either temporarily or long-term, with their daily routines. We provide seniors and their families with the peace of mind they need to enjoy an enhanced, more care-free lifestyle. Living in your own home in your later years should be an option that all seniors can consider. Unfortunately, as we become susceptible to the limitations of aging, activities that were once easy, enjoyable, and necessary become difficult, if not impossible. In Your Home Care can make life easier by performing many of the tasks which have become difficult.
Are you keeping up?
Has keeping up with the responsibility of your home become overwhelming? Do you have a loved one that needs in-home care that you cannot provide? Let In Your Home Care provide you with a convenient independent living solution for you or your loved one.
Experienced? We think so
Karin LaRocca, RN, BSN, and Co-Owner has worked in the health care industry for the past 28 years. Karin's nursing career has been very diverse and includes, medical/surgical, Emergency Room, dialysis, transplant, Intensive Care, and Case Management.
As a nurse Karin became aware of the positive effects of the presence of family and familiar surroundings to patients well being. She also realized the obstacles families faced upon discharge from the hospital setting to continue to care and supervise loved ones.
The philosophy of In Your Home Care is to provide a wide array of services and support to aid individuals who want to maintain their independence and assist families in achieving that goal.
Maryann Taylor, CCRN, and Co-Owner has worked as a registered nurse over the past 25 years. Maryann's life work with nursing started on a medical surgical unit of a major Philadelphia hospital.
Over the last 15 years she has worked with seniors on a geriatric unit, and continues to work in a Intensive Care unit today.
Maryann's belief is that clients will always do better in their own home setting. Seeing family, or just the fact that the client knows that they are home, helps to some degree physically as well as mentally.
Helping the client to achieve the highest level of healthy independence is what In Your Home Care is all about.
